Mrs. Box Tops of IPA (aka Ms. Dee Paz, IPA parent) is seeking an apprentice for the 2011-2012 school year. The majority of the tasks involved can be done at home: sorting and counting box tops from the collection boxes, preparing snack size baggies for Elementary Friday Folders, use of the Box Tops website, and mailing the collected Box Tops in for redemption.

Approximately every 10-12 weeks, Mrs. Box Tops makes a personal appearance at the Monday Morning Assembly to give a "status report", conduct a drawing, and give out prizes. She is usually assisted in this by a student.

At the end of the 2011-2012 school year, Mrs. Box Tops (Dee Paz) will be "retiring" since her son will move up to Middle School. It is hoped that the apprentice will then take over the position. In the event that the apprentice is a mom, Dee Paz will donate her Mrs. Box Tops outfit. If the apprentice is a dad, Dee Paz will offer creative suggestions for a snappy Mr. Box Tops look.
